Cyprus Weddings

Cyprus has to be one of the most romantic locations to have a wedding, with so many connections to Love, not only did Mark Anthony give the island to Cleopatra as a sign of his love but it is also the birthplace of Aphrodite - the Goddess of Love.

There are many reasons why couples choose a Cyprus Wedding.  It can be reached from many regional airports in under 5 hours and with around 330 days of sunshine you almost guarantee blue skies should you wish to marry on this beautiful island.  Cyprus as an island combines European culture with historic enchantment; traditional villages rolling countryside, snow capped mountains, medieval castles and harbours.  With its stunning coastline, beautiful beaches, historical sights, cobbled villages, flower filled fields, cosy restaurants and lively nightlife there’s something to cater for all tastes - it’s hard to believe that all this could be contained on a single isle.

What could be more romantic than exchanging vows on the ’island of love’, the birthplace of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, who is said to have risen from the waves rolling into the beautiful Cypriot coastline. There are a variety of locations to marry but the most popular are with the hotel grounds with the ocean behind you.

If you love the idea of getting married in a warm sunny location surrounded by the ocean but do not wish to travel as far a field as The Caribbean or Indian Ocean, then having wedding in Cyprus could be the perfect choice.
